By installing and using AI Video Dub ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
AI Video Dub is a Chrome browser extension that provides real-time translation of YouTube video subtitles with optional voice dubbing. The service translates English subtitles into multiple languages.
3. User Requirements
To use the Extension, you must:
- Have a valid Google account
- Use Google Chrome browser
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Comply with YouTube's Terms of Service
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Extension for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Extension
- Abuse, harass, or overload our servers
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to make excessive requests
- Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
5. Intellectual Property
The Extension, including its code, design, and content, is owned by AI Video Dub and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6. Third-Party Content
The Extension interacts with YouTube and displays translated versions of YouTube subtitles. We do not own or control YouTube content. YouTube's Terms of Service apply to your use of YouTube. Translations are provided for convenience and may not be 100% accurate.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that:
- The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Translations will be 100% accurate
- The Extension will work with all YouTube videos
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI Video Dub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Extension.
9. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction where AI Video Dub operates.
